color=#0000ff> Iberostar Message BoardWe were @ The Iberostar Del Mar from July 9-16 2005 it was an over-all above average experience. The grounds were beautifully landscape, and immaculate, the staffers were very couteous always with a smile on their face. The all-inclusive was the way to go. The food at most of the restaraunts was good, some you must wear slacks (trousers) for the men and dressy outfits for the ladies. The beach was clean, (tops are optional) beware. The hotel rooms are above average, the hotel itself was pretty with pink flamingos walking freely about the property, but please bring plenty of mosquito repellant we were eaten alive, mostly early evening. The disco is large with a great dance floor and a great DJ playing all the latest music from Latin, Hip Hop and R & B and Salsa. The cigar bar was air-conditioned and bartenders were extremly humorous and can make any drink you can imagine. The swimming pool meandered through the property was gorgeous just like the pictures and swim up bars were great. Check-in was prompt along with check-out. I'd definetly recommend this to anyone. There is a more upscale Iberostar within walking distance it's worth the trip to view. We'd like to someday go back but with plenty of repellant. One last thing when you make purchases most of the time your change is given in pesos so if you'd like bring plenty of lower denomination bills.
