We stayed at Lindo from Jan 14 - 17. My husband and I take a long weekend trip to somewhere warm every year (This is our sixth year). Overall, this is a good resort and we are considering going back next year. When we arrived, we were upgraded from the Paraiso Del Mar to the Lindo. The check in procedures were quick and we were able to get into our room when we arrived at 1 pm. The room was a good size with a king bed, two chairs with a dining table, a couch, and a small balcony.

We spent most of our time on the beach and were impressed with the number of chairs available. Other resorts we've been to do not have enough chairs on the beach. The beach is pretty nice, but it was very windy. The wind made it pretty cool in the morning and late afternoon.

The food at the buffets is okay. We were always able to find something that we liked. We did try one of the specialty restaurants, the Pagoda. The food there was NOT good. Don't go - the food at the buffets was much better.

We always travel carry-on, but did talk to several people that trouble with their luggage. They lost one person's suitcase for an entire day and several others were delivered so late that they couldn't do much on their first day. If you go, be sure to take all your necessities, including a swimsuit, in a carryon so that you don't miss any time.
