According to my spanish to english dictionary, Lindo is spanish for pretty and that is an understatement. We were there the last week in Jan. and I was in awe the whole time. We actually booked our stay at the Beach but were bumped to the Lindo when we arrived.

At first the resort, which actually consists of del Mar, Beach, Lindo, & Maya, is a little intimidating because of it's size but you soon get your bearing and learn your way around. A typical day for us went like this:

-Wake up. Get up fairly early and walk down to the big breakfast buffet. Our freinds went to work out first. There are several buffets but the main one near the lobby was the best.
-Bum. Stay up by the pool or head down to the beach, which has beautiful white sand. Maybe have a drink or 10. Some people complain about the water being cold but I bet they just dipped there toes in. Once you get in "the water is just fine". You can eat at the beach buffet or any one of the numberous buffets all over the resort. I played a lot of beach volleyball but we also went parasailing, kayaking, and just wading. The parasailing was fun but it cost $60/person. All the other non-motorized stuff is free.
-Clean up. Bring dressy cloths for the restaurants and make your reservations the first day. The Japanese is hard to get into.
-Eat. Go out to the Restaurant and have a wonderful dinner. All of them were great. The people try very hard and we had a blast.
-The show. The adult show starts about 9:30 or so and they were always fun. Some people complain about the shows but they are put on by the people who have just spent all day catering to you and they are very good considering. They are actually very entertaining.
-The club. The show is over about 11:30 and they might have kareoke for a while but then, if you are still rairing to go, the only place left is the discotech. Some of the profesional dancers are usually there to get the party going and it is really a good time even if you just watch.

We had such a great time! We communicated home using the internet room and email which cost $3/15 min. I would recommend having a set time for someone from home to call you because it is expensive to call back to USA. You have to see it to believe it. The pictures don't do it justice! Email me if you have any questions, I would be happy to help you out!
