color=#0000ff> Iberostar Message BoardJust back from 1 week. I agree with previous commentary that while visually quite beautiful the Lindo leaves some to be desired. I thought the food was not very good, even the dinner restaurants...really, and I am trying not to be overly critical here, I was quite disappointed. I also think this resort is better if you are a pool person than a beach person....so many pools...beach I found crowded although never a problem finding a chair or shade, just quite a few people. In regard to children the kids club really only has children 7 and under...in the end it was fine as I was comfortable with my 8 and 12 year old being out of my direct sight as the environs were obviously quite safe. I have travelled quite a bit - DR. Cuba,Mexico (this is 4th or 5th time), Britian, Canada. Sometimes I stay at posher places. sometimes not. I would say the rooms are quite nice. Really just the food and the beach were substandard. I will also mention I got a touch of food poisoning the second day and it did effect my ability to eat certain foods for the rest of the seek. In the end I would say it was just an OK holiday-but that's what I have always found with all-inclusives.
