Iberostar Message Board

We just got back this morning and I can't tell you the 6 hour flight delay to Newark was not a nice way to end the trip but everything at the Lindo was great.

We were a group of 11 with ages from 8 grade kids to 16 year olds.. ok were in our 40's...



When we arrived late Easter Sunday and our rooms ready and ok for the minimal amount of time we spent in them.

Food.

We made several reservation and had great service and food at:

Japanese, Italian, Mexican, and the Cajon Rest. All were GREAT! Again Service and Food.


The one night we at the buffet and it was ok but we preferred the sit down none self service.

Lunch:

The beach food and Bar service was Great! Look for Jesue and Fidal. They were great as well as the entire cooking staff at the beach. One day the even made a LARGE (which is an understatment) of Paella

We did not see much of the shows since we had late dinner reservations.

Breakfast:

Our favorite was at the Italian Rest.


Fitness:
The facility had lots of machines and equipment but we sometimes they were in short supply in the am rush. But I have to say the step and pilates that they did near the wave pool was GREAT. The instructor was super and for someone who only stepped once before she helped us really get the Latin beat...

You really can't run on the beach as the slope and sand are not the best for the legs so stick to the track or the machines.

Can't give 5 stars.. as I am always looking for perfection... Which I might ever find but this is close to it.
