We traveled to this resort June 20-27 for our honeymoon. Our vacation was unbelievable. We were originally booked at the IB* Beach resort and we asked if we could get an upgrade to the Lindo and we did. We asked for a 3rd floor room closest to the beach. Our request was granted as we were located in building 55 on the 3rd floor. Our room was very clean to begin and the maids did an amazing job each day.

Food-We both thought all of the food was very good. Every day the buffets had different selections with some of the same things. One thing we could always count on was the awesome guacamole, mexican salsa, cheese and chips. That was a must each visit to the buffet. We at at the specialty restaurants all but one night. Starting with our favorite-least favorite (but it was still good) were the Japanese, Steakhouse (We liked the Tenderloin), Mexican (Arecherra Monetery was very good), Italian (filet mignon was good), and the gourmet (shrip was good).

Most days we spent by the pool which was awesome along with everything else but we did do a day by the beach and a day at Xel-Ha and enjoyed both of those as well. We can't wait to be able to go back and hopefully do 10 nights instead of 7. All of the Star Friends were amazing too!
All in all we couldn't believe how nice this resort was and everything they had to offer. We hope to be back next year!
We're jealous of everyone who has a trip to look foward to in the near future. It all went by too fast!
