The food was great, the rooms were clean, the staff were magnificent and the facilities were absolutely marvellous.

I'm 13 and i went for two weeks with my whole family. It was my mum's birthday and my auntie's wedding anniversary. The hotel was so hospitable that we got a cake, a song and champagne for both occasions.

When I first arrived i was struck by the hotel's great gardens and beautiful fountains. We were greeted at check-in by a friendly host called De La Cruz and were served gorgeous drinks, without even asking.

Then we reached the rooms which had beautiful views of the hotel and comfy beds. I especially liked the practical yet slightly luxurious, walk-in shower.

In daylight we got our first view of the pool. It had a swim up bar and spacious- yet slightly cold- jacuzzi. in total there were 3 pools- one for games e.g water polo, water volleyball and water basketball. One for teaching scuba diving, but you could also swim in it if you preferred deeper pools. And also the main one, which was filtered and cleaned every night.

There are loads of activities to keep you entertained. These are organised by star friends- friendly staff that give an extra oomph to the holiday. These people are great and you really feel like you get to know them. They're lively and helpful at all times. Especially watch out for Dayilah and Mayra- two girls who are super.
The activities are schedueled and range from salsa lessons and step aerobics to football and water polo. There is also darts, bowls and mini golf for the less active of us!!! One of my favourite parts of the holiday was the dancing by the pool. Cha cha slide and balai bala- the hotels "signature" dances.

Food was fantastic at the hotel. There were two main restaurants for lunch and breakfast. The beach one and the buffet one. The beach one also served ice cream, popcorn and nachos. The buffet one was great and served a wide range of different foods from all nationalities.
At night you could eat at any time in the buffet however the speciality restaurants- steak house, japanese, gourmet and mexican- need to be booked. My favourites were the steak and mexican although it's fun to try them all.

Night time entertainment takes shape in the form of the fun, amusing shows and the disco. Shows range from miss iberostar to dominican dancing. On some shows you can expect audience participation and on some others you can sit back and enjoy. The choreography and actors and singers and dancers are excellent and make you feel happy and entertained.
the disco is not open to under 16's and a guard is posted at the door. However the drinks are great and the atmosphere is fabulous. The dj plays a wide range of music and the barman is very friendly.

The beach at the hotel is gorgeous. There's beautiful, velvet sand, exotic palm trees and a warm, inviting sea. Take some bread with you and watch the fish swim right up to you- even if you're in the shallows. There's plenty of shade aswell. The lighthouse bar on the beach is spectacular and the barman raoul is paticularly welcoming and friendly. I especially enjoyed watching the sunset there on a hot afternoon.

Drinks, drinks, drinks. You want it, they got it. I'm only a teenager but i still got to enjoy the magnificent- non alcoholic- cocktails.I never tried these but from reference I know these drinks are good: Pina coladas, milkshakes, coco locos, mudslides, b-52s. Theres to many to list. Every cocktail is tasty, refreshing and lovely. The barstaff are fantastic and the waitresses are friendly and helpful. At the poolside bar you can sip a nice beverage while relaxing in the pool and you don't even have to get out!!!
Alfredo is a cool barman so make sure you say hi.

The buildings are clean and the fountains are relaxing and beautiful to look at. The many plants and flower give the hotel a plush, colourful look and the gardens are maintained by very talented gardeners. Each block with the rooms in comes with it's own specially designed courtyard and the maids leave towel sculptures and flowers on your bed.

Overall this hotel is one of the best ive ever stayed at. Great chefs, maids, waitresses and barmen. Topped off by beautiful gardens, beaches, arches, buildings and pools means a holiday of a lifetime.
