Iberostar Message Board

I will be very brief
Pool - fantastic
Service- great
Grounds- pretty, pretty
Entertaiment- enjoy some of the shows inspite of the open air theatre. It's not so hot there after 6 pm compare to Jamaica
Food - below average. Didn't enjoy any of the restaurants. After talking to other guests, opinions on food strongly divided.
My 4 years old and husband got sick after three days. It's got just worst when we came back. However, she liked kids club and disco at night for kids.
There is no direct flights from NY or NJ to La Romana. It's two hours drive by bus from Santo Domingo or Punta Cana which is a little bit too much for toddlers plus two hours before the plane.
I would go to Punta Cana next time. RUI resort suppose to be better.
However, I prefer Negril Jamaica which is closer and beaches are nicer and water is calmer.
