Hola all.
We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at the Bavaro. We had a great time and will have a review ready in the next couple of weeks.
Just a few quick comments.
Since our last stay in March the resort has started to update all of the Jr. Suites. All new baths with new fixtures, new marble floors, and all new interiors. We were given a tour of one of the finished rooms by Mr. Lander Gonzalez(Bavaro Sub-Director). The new rooms are beautiful, and for all you morning coffee lovers there are coffe makers in all the new suites, plus iron and ironing boards.
We took pix of the new suites and will post them with the rest of the pix.
Other news is that the main lobby is being updated too. Half is done and the other half was about 1/2 way done.The marble floors have been replaced with a beautiful dark Brazilian mahogony hardwood, and all new fixtures. They also are adding a new Cajun Restaurant and are making the main buffet larger and also there will be a new Gourmet(La Ballena).
The Iberostar never is at a stand still and they are always doing things to improve the resort to better it's clients.
